Question..

OpenStudy (hba):

Modulus of \[i^3(1+i) \] is

OpenStudy (hba):

Is it 2 ?

OpenStudy (nubeer):

first multiply it.. i^2 = -1 after simplifying.. apply the formula of modulus.

OpenStudy (hba):

What is the formula ?

OpenStudy (hba):

By the way it is i^3

OpenStudy (hba):

Ok So 1+i^3

OpenStudy (nubeer):

u can split i^3 in i^2.i

OpenStudy (hba):

I have solved it now tell me how can i take modulus ?

OpenStudy (nubeer):

1+i^2.i i^2=-1 1-i general form =a+ib formula of modulus =(a^2+b^2)^0.5

OpenStudy (hba):

Where did you get the power from ? i.e 0.5

OpenStudy (nubeer):

its the formula.. its basically square root. \[\sqrt{a ^{2}+b ^{2}}\]

OpenStudy (hba):

ok thanks :)

OpenStudy (nubeer):

you are welcome. :)
