what is most likely outcome in probability?
@Hero @shubhamsrg
Do you mean you want to understand the term "most likely outcome"?
yes...
I think it's whichever outcome has the probability closest to one out of all the outcomes
The most likely outcome of an event is the probability that an event is most likely to occur.
Two dice and two coins are thrown at the same time. What is the most likely outcome? How can you relate the term with this question?
\[\LARGE{\color{red}{\text{No. of favourable outcomes} \over \text{Total no. of outcomes}}}\]
This is the most likely outcome:
Two dice and two coins are thrown at the same time. What is the most likely outcome? How can you relate the term with this question?
The most likely outcome is that they will fall to the ground
@Hero
To answer your question, there is NO most likely outcome if all four objects are fair; there is an equal distribution of probabilities for each event.
In the simplest of terms, The most likely outcome is the event that has the highest probability of occurring.
thanks @Hero
If you have a polyhedron die with seven faces, which has 2 6's, one 5,4,3,2,1, then the most likely event is that we get a 6.
