Why are Na+ , K+ , Ca2+ and Mg2+ not called lewis acid ?

OpenStudy (abb0t):

I don't think they are called lewis acids, but they can be. In fact, Calcium cation is a good lewis acid.. Mg2+, similarly, a lewis acid when its aquated (reacted with water). By definition, a lewis acid must be able to accept an electron pair. Don't confuse lewis acid with bronsted-lowry acid, they are different.
