A white precipitate was formed when NaCl is mixed with Pb(NO3)2 in a test tube. The test tube was put into boiling water and the precipitate started to dissolve. After letting the test tube sit in room temperature, a bit of crystallization formed again. can someone explain to me why this happens?

OpenStudy (chmvijay):

this is due to formation of lead chloride PbCl2

OpenStudy (chmvijay):

when you put in boiling water it get dissolves and slowly recrystallizes when you put to the room temperaure
