OpenStudy (jfraser):

the arrow could mean a couple different things, it depends. Does the arrow mean the bond itself, or the movement of electrons within the molecule?

OpenStudy (jfraser):

the O-S bond is certainly polar, but the arrow is pointing in the wrong direction if that's what this problem means.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I think the movement of electrons within the molecule

Would C be the correct answer? @JFraser

OpenStudy (jfraser):

it could be, but that would mean the oxygen was in possession of 10 electrons, which is 2 too many. without a better option, I'd say C is correct

Thanks!! :)

OpenStudy (jfraser):

i don't really like the way the question is worded, but it's the best of some fuzzy options

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yeah it is quite confusing :(
