Solve for x sinx+(cotx cosx)=root 3

OpenStudy (anonymous):

sinx+cotx cosx=√3 sinx+ cos/sinx cosx = √3 ---> in this step i converted cot into cos/sin sinx + cos^2/sin= √3 ---> in this step i multiplied cos by cos, which gives you cos sqaured sin^2x+cos^2x/sin=√3 ---> in this step i found the common demonomenator for both, which is sin 1/sin=√3 ---> you know that sin squared plus cos squared gives you one. Therefore, its √3! Hope i helped :)
