OpenStudy (anonymous):

is hydrogen bonding intermolecular force or intramolecular force?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Hydrogen bonding is an intermolecular force, because what happens is the hydrogen atoms of two different molecules create a polarity which then causes the molecules to attract each other (this also creates surface tension on water, and causes bubbles and droplets to be perfectly spherical)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Hydrogen bonding occurs between H atom and an electronegative atom (e.g. N,O,F).It can be intermolecular or intramolecular depending upon the molecule we are dealing with.

Does PH affect hydrogen bonding?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i think it's viceversa... hydrogen bonding may affect pH
