What do you mean by "3D" models. You mean their molecular geometry? Start by drawing out their lewis dot structures. That will give you an idea as to whether they are: linear, bent, trigonal planar, tetrahedral, etc., Remember that electrons cause a dipole moment. For instance, water is bent.
