Help with a log. (problem attached)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Simplified it to: \[\log_{9} \frac{ x+4 }{ 6 } = \log_{8} 24\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

What do I do from there?

geerky42 (geerky42):

Now you have "\(\large\log_9\)" in both sides, cancel it out, left \(\dfrac{x+4}{6} = 24\)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Thanks, forgot you could cancel out logs when they're on both sides.

geerky42 (geerky42):

You're welcome.
