Well given that relation we see the height of our triangle is just \(2/3\) that of the side \(BG\). We know the area of our rectangle is given by \((DC)(BG)\) and we can infer the area of our triangle is just \(\frac12(DC)(2BG/3)=\frac13(DC)(BG)\) so \(1/3\) of the area of our rectangle.

G?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oops C not G

OpenStudy (anonymous):

sorry I'm quite tired

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@oldrin.bataku Oh, sorry for keeping you up with my questions, hah. So all those times you said G, you meant C right?
