Finding zeros for polynomials which are already factored is a godsend :D All of the factors are going to be of the form (x - a) Then if (x - a) is a factor of the polynomial, then x - a = 0 or x = a would be a zero of the polynomial...

In your equation, you should have 3 zeros, because you polynomial is of degree 3. 2 of these zeros will be identical and one will be unique. We say the multiplicity of the identical roots is two in this case. When does this function equal zero? This is the same as saying, what can you plug in for x to make the whole thing zero?
