Well, if you form a salt, you might see some white precipitate. Or some solids in your tube. 2. Barium sulfate is probably less soluble than either of the salt. So when the solubility of the barium sulfate is exceeded, preventing from the formation of a solid, spreading out the solid formation, making it look milky. You SHOULD include a stoichiometric equation when answering number 2 to further support your statement of WHAT is going on for full credit on this.
