Ball swinging on a rope. Mass of ball is 4kg. Assuming the mass of the rope and friction are both negligible, what is maximum speed of ball as it swings? (h=2.5m) Not sure but I think its 7m/s

OpenStudy (ookawaiioo):

P.E = K.E Potential energy = kinetic energy \[\sqrt{2*gravity*height}= Velocity\] Height = 2.5 Gravity = 10m/s

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Take g as 9.8.so you will get the answer as 7m/s
