**please Help me**
The formula C=(5/9)(F−32), where F>=−459.67 expresses the Celsius temperature C as a function of Fahrenheit temperature F.

?
OpenStudy (anonymous):
i'm confussed
OpenStudy (anonymous):
so what would the domain be
OpenStudy (nincompoop):
the lowest temperature, I think. in your case it is -459.67
OpenStudy (anonymous):
i've tried that too

[-459.67,infinity) is wrong
OpenStudy (nincompoop):
so your interval is from [-459.67, +infinity)
OpenStudy (nincompoop):
it's wrong? lol then i don't know
OpenStudy (anonymous):
yeah it says it is
OpenStudy (nincompoop):
there are two infinities though - and +

the domains i've tried are (-infinity,infinity) and [-459.67,infinity) and (-459.67,infinity)
OpenStudy (nincompoop):
well that's because we are using F temperature. convert F>=−459.67 into celsius and use that as your beginning interval
OpenStudy (anonymous):
ok
OpenStudy (nincompoop):
let me know if that's wrong still … LOL
OpenStudy (anonymous):
i tried doing what u said and got (-273.15,infinity). it said the type of interval was wrong. what does that mean

every time you see greater than or equal to and lesser than or equal to it is always [ or ]
only with infinity that you use ( or ) because we can never really reach infinity
