There are two naturally occurring isotopes of gallium. 69Ga has a mass of 68.9256 amu. 71Ga has a mass of 70.9247 amu. Determine the abundance of each isotope.
Realize that the molecular mass of Ga posted in the periodic table is the average molecular weight based on the abundance of each isotope found in nature. So you will need it! if you dont understand look up how molecular mass is determine for an element on the periodic table! Make up two equations using two variables in each equation to figure out the abundance of each indivudal isotope found in nature. Then use system of equations to solve for each variable. If you dont know how to do this look up solving system of equation problems using a search engine.
