Below are two different functions, f(x) and g(x). What can be determined about their y-intercepts? f(x) = x + 4 x ,g(x) −1, 8 1, 0 2 ,−4 The function f(x) has a higher y-intercept. The function g(x) has a higher y-intercept. They both have the same y-intercept. The relationship between y-intercepts cannot be determined.

hi, let;s take the function g(x) in that function when x is -1 ----> y is 8 x is 1 ----> y is 0 x is 2 -----> y is -4 so... here when x increase the value for y decreases... basically the shape of this graph is.....|dw:1381066962913:dw| and now let's take the function f(x) in that function... when x is -1.... f(x) = x + 4 = 3 when x is 1 ----> f(x) /y is 5 when x is 2 ----> y is 6 here when x increases y also increases so the shape of that graph is.... |dw:1381067107031:dw| now wt can u say abt the y intercept of those 2 graphs ???
