A rigid tank contains 3kg of nitrogen gas at 500 kPa and 300 K. Now heat is transferred to the nitrogen in the tank at a constant pressure until it is 400 K. The work done during this process is? (hint: molar mass of N2=28g/mol and the universal gas constant is Ru=8.314J/gK

First of all, I think that your gas constant should be in units of J/(mol K).
Then, using PV =nRT for the initial and final states, we can find the change in volume. Since work = P* (change in Volume), we can calculate Work done to achieve this process.
