fiddy, please use the correct characters when writing reactions to avoid ambiguity. 1 =/= l (the letter l). c =/=Carbon h =/= Hydrogen \(CH_4 + Cl_2 \rightarrow CHCl_3+ HCl\) carbons balanced, need to balance hydrogens \(CH_4 + Cl_2 \rightarrow CHCl_3+ 3HCl\) need to balance chlorines \(CH_4 + 2Cl_2 \rightarrow CHCl_3+ 3HCl\)
