What is the best interpretation of the following equation in everyday language? 3y = x The number of nachos sold is 3 times the number of bags of popcorn sold. Where did dollars even figure in? Like I said, \(3y = x\) means that you can get 3 nachos for the same price as 1 popcorn. If a popcorn is $6 that means nachos are $2 because \(3\times2 = 6\)
