What is the difference between a reversible reaction and an equilibrium reaction?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

the equilibrium reaction goes in on way only from left to right and the reactants all of it becomes products. the reversible reaction goes in 2 ways from left to right and from right to left so the reactants do not convert all of it into products

OpenStudy (joannablackwelder):

Equilibrium reactions are a type of reversible reaction where the rate of the forward reaction equals the rate of the reverse.
