OpenStudy (anonymous):

what volume of O2 will be needed to react with 25 grams of C2H4

OpenStudy (joannablackwelder):

Can you get to moles of O2 using stoichiometry?

OpenStudy (joannablackwelder):

1 mol of gas = 22.4 L

OpenStudy (kira_yamato):

1) Find the number of moles of C2H4 2) Make use of the equation CxHy + (x + y/4) O2 --> x CO2 + y H2O, where x =2 and y = 4. 3) Find the number of moles of O2 based on the stoichiometry 4) Use pV = nRT to get the volume at that certain temperature and pressure.
