My son has this question: find the common difference between -6, 2/3, 11/12 then the next three in the sequence.

OpenStudy (ellecullen):

Hi, Depending on the sequence and directions, you could find the difference by adding / - or x . What grade is your son in? If your sequence is arithmetic, you would add or subtract to find the difference. You would need to take the second term / by the first if the sequence is geometric. I hope this helps. Elle
