I have to make a pie chart of the percentages of the different languages spoken in america, how would i find out the percentage reduced to make up 100%?

Well you would divide that number by the total population of America...so say there are 100 people who speak english...out of 10000 people total in america...that is 100 1 ------ = --- = .01 = 1 percent of people 10000 100 Make sense?
