OpenStudy (anonymous):

lol i'm trying

OpenStudy (jdoe0001):

miles?

OpenStudy (jdoe0001):

the box is really moving =)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

wait holds on wrong one

OpenStudy (jdoe0001):

for the picture, I'd think just add both vectors you'd just need the find the "x" and "y" components for each you have the angle and the hypotenuse and that'd do it to get the "x" and "y"

OpenStudy (anonymous):

100sin62.4=88.6 75cos54.9=43.1

OpenStudy (jdoe0001):

|dw:1395532272391:dw|

OpenStudy (jdoe0001):

so the SUM of the vectors should be < x2, y2 > + < x1, y1 >

OpenStudy (jdoe0001):

then you end up with a vector, then you'd just need to find its magnitude, that is || < x2, y2 > + < x1, y1 > ||

the weight of the box is 150.823lb ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Call f1, the vertical force exerted by person 1: Call f2, the vertical force exerted by person 2: f1 = 76*sin (54.9 deg) = ......... f2 = 100*sin (62.4 deg) = ........ Answer: Weigh of the box = f1 + f2

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yeah 150.8 lb?
