\[\sqrt{36a ^4 b ^{10}}\]
@mathmale
is that b^10?
@pleasehelp22 yes :)
I'd suggest you break up the original radical like this:\[\sqrt{36a ^4 b ^{10}}=\sqrt{36}*\sqrt{a^4}*\sqrt{b ^{10}}\]

Evaluate each of the 3 radicals separately, and then multiply together the 3 results.
(36a^2b^10)^1/2 = \(\ 36^{1/2} * (a^4)^{1/2} * (b^10)^{1/2} \) \(\ ( a^4 )^{1/2} = \dfrac{4}{1} * \dfrac{1}{2} = \dfrac{4}{2} = 2 \) \(\ (a^4)^{1/2} = a^2 \) get it?
\(\ b^{10} \) *
\[6a ^{2} b ^{5}\]?
