A balloon is filled with helium at 0'C and at 1 atm. The mass of the balloon is 50 grams and it contains 15 moles of helium. What is the volume of the balloon? molecular weight given for He is 4.0

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Molar volume of an ideal gas at 0'C and 1 atm pressure is 22.4 dm3 Therefore, assuming ideality, volume of balloon containing 15 moles of He at 0'C and 1 atm is 15 x 22.4 =336 dm3 I _think_ you don't need the mass of the balloon, or the mol wt of He. But don't hold me to that.

Use the ideal gas equation:\[PV=nRT\]Solve for the volume.
