It is because its gaining heat.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ahhh ok. Thank you!!!!! I have another question The phase change in which a substance changes from a gas directly to a solid is A. condensation. B. vaporization. C. deposition. D. sublimation. Would this be C, Deposition?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

No this would be D. Sublimation. Deposition is Solid to Gas.

I feel dumb now.. thank you again.. hah, this is all confusing!!!

Thank you!!! :)

Collisions of helium atoms with the walls of a closed container cause A. condensation. B. gas pressure. C. a decrease in volume. D. an overall loss of energy. The answer would be B , gas pressure?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I think so, when they are colliding, we know that they will produce something:pressure

OpenStudy (anonymous):

does that make sense?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

It does. thanks !!!

OpenStudy (anonymous):
