Hydrogen chloride gas is shipped in a container under 5,100 mmHg of pressure that occupies 20.1 liters at 29°C. How many liters of gas would be produced at STP? 1.7 x 10^-5 L 8.3 x 10^-3 L 120 L 150 L

OpenStudy (asib1214):

ok do you have any clue, how you are going to tackle the problem???????????

OpenStudy (anonymous):

no whatsoever lol

OpenStudy (asib1214):

you need to use the formula \[P1 \times V1 \div T1 = P2 \times V2 \div T2\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok

OpenStudy (asib1214):

Ok before you bother to plugin the values into the formula, what you need to do is that convert the given variables into appropriate units. first you need to convert "5'100 mm Hg" into Kpa and °C into Kelvins. like this..... |dw:1406834073399:dw|
