Fiona decides to join a gym for a minimum of one month to train for a triathlon. The gym charges a joining fee of $100 and a monthly fee of $38. If x represents the number of months that Fiona is a member of the gym, the equation below can be used to determine C, her total membership fee for that duration of time: 100 + 38x = C Fiona has allocated a maximum of $328 to spend on her gym membership. Which number line shows the possible number of months that Fiona can be a member of the gym? A number line shows numbers from 0 to 12 in increments of 1. The portion of the line from 0 to 6 is bold with shaded circles at 0 and at 6 A number line shows numbers from 0 to 12 in increments of 1. Well hint* if the gym membership cannot exceed 328 dollars, that means (thanks to this equation) the person can only go for a maximum of 6 months So this automatically eliminates C or D as possible answers
Now it is just between A and B, the only difference between the two, is that one will start at 1 month, and the other starts at the very beginning as soon as she pays her fee It wouldn't make sense to say she doesn't start going until 1 month after she pays the 100 fee, so this graph would have to start at 0. Hence the answer choice will be...?
i would be "A"
Correct indeed^ :)
yay! thank you so much ^-^
Of course :)
