Hello @eunnice ! Welcome to openstudy

OpenStudy (abhisar):

It is suggested that you ask one question at a time.

OpenStudy (abmon98):

second attachment it is B isomer X when broken, it can form either (CH3)2CHCBr3 or (CH3)2CBrCHBr2 Isomer Y when broken, it can either form CHBrCH3CBr2CH3 or CH3CBr2CHBrCH3 but you are looking for three different compounds, in isomer Y products are the same but are reversed.

OpenStudy (abmon98):

First attatchment CH4+2O2-->CO2+2H2O 10 cm^3 reacted with 70 cm^2 but we use only 20 cm^2 and we have got 50cm^3 of O2 unreacted. H2O is in liquid state so it does not count as a residual gas. looking at our equation. we have only 10 cm^3 of CO2 produced. so total of volume of residual gas is 60 cm^3

OpenStudy (abmon98):

Third Attatchment CH3CH2CH3 propane CH3CH2CH2•+•CH2CH2CH3-->CH3CH2CH2CH2CH2CH3 CH3CH•CH3 + •CH2CH2CH3-->CH3CHCH3CH2CH2H3

OpenStudy (abmon98):

fourth Attachment Metal +Acid-->Salt+Hydrogen Ca+CH3COOH-->Ca(CH3COO)2 CaC4H6O2 so we eliminate option 1

OpenStudy (abmon98):

sorry that's the fifth one

OpenStudy (abb0t):

Wow. I can't believe you did all her work for her.

OpenStudy (abmon98):

Read this for question related to lattice . http://www.chemguide.co.uk/atoms/structures/ionicstruct.html believe it or not, i did it :D @abb0t

OpenStudy (abb0t):

Ok. Next time do my work too.

OpenStudy (abmon98):

sure.
