In part one, see which ones follow a^2 + b^2 = c^2 where c is the largest number.
So like d. 3, 4, 5 Does 3^2 + 4^2 = 5^2?
9 + 16 = 25? Well yes, that works! Where a. 4, 5, 6 4^2 + 5^2 = 6^2? -> 16 + 25 = 41 not 36, so no, this doesn't work.

No no, in part 2 you have b and c, for 5 and 13 So it's a^2 + 5^2 = 13^2
a here comes out to be 12.
