but u subtract them i get nothing...so my answer would be 0 right?
yes because -26 - (-26) = -26 + 26 = 0
you may be thinking of y^0 = 1 which is where you're getting 1
see thats what confuse me so y^0 = 1... when it ask me what is the sponent for y? would be 1 cause y^01
no it would be 0 because that is the exponent for y when you fully simplify everything

it just turns out that y^0 = 1
