not sure if I understand your question, but the reaction above is between an alkene and a permanganate. It's essentially a redox reaction where the potassium gets reduced and the carbon in the double bond gets oxidized. The double bond in the carbon will break and you will have two alcohol groups (-OH) attach to either side of the previous double bond that existed.

There's these buttons below this little rectangular box where you type, yeah, it's like on the opposite side of where you hit "POST"... Yeah, click that. It should say draw, attach file and equation.
