I don't want an answer because its based on my opinion, I would just like someone to help simplify and rephrase the question. Ezra Pound rejected Thoreau’s project of simple living at Walden Pond. Pound perceived this experiment as “Thoreau’s first intellectual reaction to the mere approach of industrialization.” According to Pound, this experiment demonstrated Thoreau’s indifference toward other human beings. Do you agree with Pound’s perception? Why or why not?
