Solve this equation: (MAVA = MBVB, (MA x 5.0 ml) = (5.2 ml x 0.10 M) 1. What is the difference between the end point and the equivalence point? 2. Why is important to correlate the end point and the equivalence point?

To solve equation, isolate MA. It's just algebra. 1) The endpoint is reached when the indicator exactly changes colour. The equivalence point is reached when equal numbers of moles acid and base are used. If you use the correct indicator the two should be very close. 2) To figure out the correct concentration of the acid or base you're trying to titrate
