Helpful steps,How much heat , in kJ, is required to warm 1.50L of water from 25.0oC to 100.0oC? (Assume a density of 1.0g/mL and a specific heat of 4.184J/(g*oC) for the water.) Use proper significant figures. ( When I calculated this and got 470.7 and rounded to my answer 471 is this correct?)

If the density is 1.0g/ml. Normally, you would get the mass of the water first as the formula for heat is \[q=cp \times m \times \Delta Tc\] cp (specific heat) is given at 4.184j tc (temperature change) is 75 and m=mass. given the density is 1 and volume is 1.5 liters. density=mass/volume only problem i see here is the units...the volume should be in milliliters..to it corresponds with the density unit... 1.0 g/ml=1500ml times mass mass=1500 grams now plug that into the formula again mass=1500 grams

That's exactly what I did and I got 471 kj as my answer
