what is the common difference in the sequence... of what is each term increasing by..?
5n - 22 where n = 1, 2, 3, 4, . . .
then use the formula \[a_{n} = a_{1} + (n - 1) \times d\] a1 is the 1st term, d is the common difference n = number of terms... just substitute the given information and simplify
