(a) Find the net electric field these charges produce at point A magnitude N/C direction to the right (b) Find the net electric field these charges produce at point B. magnitude N/C direction to the right (c) What would be the magnitude and direction of the electric force this combination of charges would produce on a proton at A? magnitude N direction to the right http://www.webassign.net/yf12/21-p-031-alt.gif

OpenStudy (michele_laino):

hint: the modulus of the electric field due to a charge Q, at point P, whose distance from Q is d, is given by the subsequent formula: \[\Large E\left( P \right) = K\frac{Q}{{{d^2}}}\] where: \[\Large K = 9 \times {10^9}N{m^2}/Coulomb{s^2}\] furthermore, we can apply the superposition principle to electric fields!

Response plz!!!!!

OpenStudy (shamim):

I think need to know q1=? q2=?

OpenStudy (shamim):

If u put a unit positive charge at point A , this charge will feel force for the charge of q1. This force is called electric field due to charge q1 at point A. Moreover, the direction of this force on unit charge is the direction of electric field at point A

OpenStudy (shamim):

Let the electric field at point A due to the charge q1=E1

OpenStudy (shamim):

Nd the electric field at point A due to the charge q2=E2

OpenStudy (shamim):

Net electric field at point A =E=E1+E2=?

OpenStudy (shamim):

Response plz!!!

OpenStudy (shamim):

I wanna help u!!!!
