The period tells you how many seconds are required to complete one cycle, while the frequency tells you how many cycles occur in one second. So, frequency is just the reciprocal of period. You just found the period, so the reciprocal of that is the frequency (f=1/T).

Well, you just tole me the period was 10 seconds. That means it takes 10 seconds to complete 1 cycle of the wave. If that's the case, how many waves occur in only 1 second?
