How much heat is produced when the body metabolizes a gram of trioleylglycerol?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

For this question we make use of your other question relatrd to trioleylglycerol. We know that this substance is one of the sources of energy necessary for human body. Therefore, heat enegy released when it is combusted. This means that the reaction is exothermic. C57H110O6 + 163/2O2 → 57CO2 + 55H2O In exothermic reactions the enthalpy of the reactants (C57H110O6 + O2) is greater than that of the products (CO2 + H2O). Therefore the difference between the enthalpy (heat content) is liberated to the surroundings as heat energy.

dont forget to use enthalpy values at 37 celsius!
