(Co-ordinate) Geometry question
Two vertices of a triangle are \((5,-1)\) and \((-2,3)\) . if the orthocenter of the triangle is the origin, what will be the co-ordinates of the third point

1) jot down the equation line of BO to get its slope m1 = -3/2 ,hence the slope of the line AC is 2/3
From the point (5,-1) and slope 2/3 , jot down the equation line of AC , it should be \(y = (2/3) x-(13/3)\)
2) from B, C, find out the slope m2 = -4/7, hence the slope of the line AO is 7/4
take the point (0,0) and that slope to find out the equation of the line AO, which is y = (7/4) x
Now, you have 2 lines: AO and AC, they intersect at A, It means you solve for the point they intersect. That is the required point A
i got \((-4,-7)\) thnks loser
