I already know the answers 1.(x(x+2(x-1) 2.x(x-4)92x+1) but I need to show my work, the reason I know my answers is because are teacher gave us the answer key because it's just a study guide. But I need to know how to get them.

OpenStudy (misty1212):

the reasoning is this: if \(r\) is a zero of \(p(x)\) then \(x-r\) is a factor of \(p(x)\)

OpenStudy (misty1212):

that is why if \(-2,0,2\) are zeros it factors as \[(x-(-2))(x-0)(x-2)\] or just \[(x+2)x(x-2)\]
