OpenStudy (vera_ewing):

Which of the following terms are present in the rate law? A. The rate constant, the temperature of the reactants, and the order of the products B. The rate constant, the concentration of the reactants, and the order of the reactants C. The rate constant and the concentration of the reactants D. The rate constant and the temperature of the reactants

OpenStudy (vera_ewing):

@JoannaBlackwelder The wording of the question confuses me...

OpenStudy (joannablackwelder):

Well, temp is not in the formula at all. rate=k[reactants]^order

OpenStudy (joannablackwelder):

So that brings us to B or C

OpenStudy (joannablackwelder):

The sum of the exponents is the order, so I think you could say it is included in the rate law.

OpenStudy (joannablackwelder):

Make sense?

OpenStudy (vera_ewing):

Okay so it's C?

OpenStudy (joannablackwelder):

No, I get B, constant, concentration, and order

OpenStudy (vera_ewing):

Ohh okay that makes sense. Thank you.

OpenStudy (joannablackwelder):

You're welcome :-)
