OpenStudy (anonymous):

A,B,C,D PLSSS HELP ME

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@mathmath333 @Data_LG2 @geekfromthefutur someone pls help me

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@mathmath333

OpenStudy (anonymous):

pls help me

OpenStudy (anonymous):

The answer would be D. This is because if you use the vertical line test (a vertical line going through the given lines) you see that D would only have 1 x value with 1 y value, making it a function.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Thank u and are u sure because this is really important

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@mathmath333 is D the answer

OpenStudy (mathmath333):

r u on a test ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

no this is math homework but its 30% of my grade...

OpenStudy (anonymous):

wouldnt it be B? @mathmath333

OpenStudy (mathmath333):

x values shouldnt be repeated , so it is D

OpenStudy (anonymous):

THANK U SO SO MUCH ...can u ask u guys 2 more questions?

OpenStudy (mathmath333):

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Which relations are functions? Choose all answers that are correct.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

x –1 1 3 3 y 2 3 4 5

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OpenStudy (anonymous):

{(−2, 4), (−1, 2), (1, 2), (3, 5)}

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OpenStudy (anonymous):

this is for the next question :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@nikvist @mathmath333 @lehmad can u pls help

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Right off the bat we can tell that the second option you posted is a function because the vertical line test is giving us 1 x value every 1 y value.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so That would be one of the answers would D be the other option @mathmath333 @lehmad

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Would D be the other answer @lehmad

OpenStudy (anonymous):

pls help me

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@lehmad pls help me

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Taking a guess here (sorry, maybe it'll put some ideas that will help you solve) D I don't think would be the answer because there are 2 of the same x values. C I believe is a function because it does not interfere will having more than 1 x value. Finally A I think would not be a function because it has, as we can see, two of the same x values.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

And we have B which we know is a function

OpenStudy (anonymous):

So I have B and C has functions.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thank u can i ask u another question? this is the last one :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Sure

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@lehmad

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Which relations are functions and which are not functions? Column A Column B 1. {(3, 2), (6, 4), (9, 6), (12, 8)} 2. {(2, 3), (2, 5), (3, 6), (9, 4)} 3. {(4, 2), (6, 3), (4, 8), (6, 6)} 4. {(3, 4), (5, 2), (6, 8), (6, 4)} A. function B. not a function

OpenStudy (anonymous):

These confuse me can u pls help @lehmad

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@lehmad

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Only got #1 as a function unlike #2,3,4, which are not functions.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OMMMMMMMMGGGGG!!!! THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I GOT 100% OMG UR THE BEST

OpenStudy (anonymous):

No problem ;)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

can u help me with another page?

OpenStudy (anonymous):
