A factory can produce two products, x and y, with a profit approximated by P = 14x + 22y – 900. The production of y must exceed the production of x by at least 100 units. Moreover, production levels are limited by the formula x + 2y ≤ 1400. a. Identify the vertices of the feasible region. b. What production levels yield the maximum profit, and what is the maximum profit?

OpenStudy (er.mohd.amir):

y>=x+100 then draw lines x+2y=1400 and y=x+100 and solve these two get feasible region and x>0,y>0

OpenStudy (anonymous):

is that A and B?

OpenStudy (er.mohd.amir):

use this get A and with points get B

OpenStudy (anonymous):

wait... what?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I agree with Er.Mohd.AMIR..A and B

OpenStudy (mathmale):

You'd probably find this discussion easier if you'd sketch the situation.
