OpenStudy (korosh23):

"A salt is the neutralization product of an acid/base reaction". Could you please clarify that for me?

OpenStudy (photon336):

NAOH + HCL = ? Acid + Base can you complete this reaction for me?

OpenStudy (korosh23):

Result: NaCl + H2O I knew this But the neutralization word is confusing?

OpenStudy (photon336):

well neutralize means when we react acid and base, there is no more acid or base left it's neutralized. that's what it means. if we use a strong acid and a strong base we get a neutral salt.

OpenStudy (korosh23):

Oh I see, I misunderstood the wording. Other than that I knew it. Thank you for clarifying it, it was helpful! :)
