"A salt is the neutralization product of an acid/base reaction". Could you please clarify that for me?

NAOH + HCL = ? Acid + Base can you complete this reaction for me?
Result: NaCl + H2O I knew this But the neutralization word is confusing?
well neutralize means when we react acid and base, there is no more acid or base left it's neutralized. that's what it means. if we use a strong acid and a strong base we get a neutral salt.
