PLEASE HELP!! Element L has an average atomic mass of 69.3121 amu and is composed of two isotopes. The first has a mass of 70.1609 amu and makes up 29.110% of a standard sample. What is the mass of the second isotope?

OpenStudy (cowgirl1):

68.4633 amu. since the average is 69.3121 we multiply that by 2 to find the total. once we havethe total, we subtract the amount of isotope 1. the remainder is the value of isotope 2.
