Help!!!!!

OpenStudy (kramse18):

\[\int\limits_{x}^{x^4}t^4dt\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\[\int\limits_{a}^{b}x^n = \left[ \frac{x^n}{n + 1} \right]_{a}^{b} = \frac{b^n - a^n}{n + 1}\] Now you need to apply this one.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

there is problem in above equation , \[x^{(n + 1)}\ instead \ of x^n \ and \ (b^{n + 1} - a^{n + 1}) \ instead \ of (b^n - a^ n)\]

OpenStudy (kramse18):

so it should be (x^16-x^4)/5 right?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\[=\frac{ t^5 }{ 5 }~from x \to x^4=\frac{\left( x^4 \right)^5-x^5 }{ 5 }=\frac{ x^{20}-x^5 }{ 5 }=\frac{ x^5\left( x^{15}-1 \right) }{ 5 }\]

OpenStudy (kramse18):

says it isn't right

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@surjithayer solution is correct. I added the typo in the next comment. See that.

OpenStudy (kramse18):

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Where it says it is not correct?
