Let the function h(x)=\[\int\limits_{2}^{x ^{2}}\arctan(t)dt \] Find h' (x)

well the antiderivative of arctan is 1/1+t^2 so you just substitute x^2 and 2 for t and subtract them. Then you find the derivative of that to get h'(x)

Okay after doing all of that I got \[\frac{ 2x }{ 1+x ^{2} }\]

no you do 1/(1+x^4) - 1/5 =5/(5+5x^4) - 1+x^4/5+5x^4 = 4+x^4/5+5x^4 and then you use the quotient rule to get the derivative. Actually I don't think the question asks for that, so it should just be 4+x^4/5+5x^4
