Great job, so when trying to find the rate of change we are going to want to find the values that they are wanting to know the distance between. This question is asking the change between 5 and 3. So your work should look something like this --> \[305-126 \over 5-3\] \[y_1 - y_2 \over x_1 - x_2\]
